The British Are Coming!

Audio samples

Join Chicago a cappella for a celebration of the glorious tradition of English music, from anthems heard in Tudor cathedrals to pop classics by the Beatles. Savor some of England’s tastiest musical exports, including saucy madrigals, sacred motets, choral works by Holst and Elgar, Baroque gems of Purcell, and even a song by King Henry VIII himself.

Audience members are invited to stay after each performance for an informal question-and-answer session with the singers.
